This post aims to discuss the types of E-commerce websites including examples of such websites.



 B2C - Bussiness to the consumer is a business model where consumers buy directly from a company.

For example, Walmart - https://www.walmart.com/ - is an American retail cooperation with many stores worldwide and across the USA.






B2B - Bussiness to business is a sale or transaction between 2 businesses. 

Example: Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/ - amazon is an American E-commerce company focused on both B2B and B2C as both customers and businesses can buy from amazon. 





C2C - Consumer to consumer - a transaction between two customers. 

Example: eBay is an example of a C2C and B2C E-commerce business, an American company focused on allowing consumers to advertise and sell their products to others.




B2G - Business to government is selling products and/or services to a local or national government by a business.

Example: Mark43 - https://mark43.com/ -
Mark43 offers a record management system and computer-aided dispatch to police and other government services. 




G2C - the interaction between the government's admiration or services with citizens. 

Example: https://www.gov.uk/- UK government website allows citizens to easily access the services provided by the UK government and get help if they are confused or want to ask.
