WWW:
The World Wide Web was invented in 1989 by Tim Berners-Lee. At first, the idea was that WWW would be used to share information between scientists in different universities and institutes. 1990, the first server web server and browser were created by Tim Berners-Lee with the help of Robert Cailiau (CERN, n.d.)
E-commerce:
Electronic shopping was invented in 1979 by Micheal Alsrich. It was done by connecting a transaction processing computer and modified tv through a telephone connection. By 1995 both amazon and eBay were first launched. Furthermore, Paypal launched in 1998. These platforms revolutionised E-commerce; by 2017 many retailers were pushed to sell their products online.
